This Christmas ornament is designed in the shape of a spinning top, reminding us of the good ole days of yore when not all toys were high tech beeping and buzzing gizmos. We carve them out of linden wood on a lathe, then handpaint them in the traditional Russian folk art manner, and finish them with high gloss lacquer so they will glisten on your Christmas tree. As they are large and have a ribbon on top, don't expect them to actually spin well. Assorted colors. Please note that we also sell actual spinning tops that are not made into ornaments if you want a time-tested toy for the stocking.
