Hand painted in exceptional detail this 7 piece nesting doll is signed and labeled "Jingle Bells" on the bottom. The story begins on Christmas Eve with the smiling moon shining bright. As you open you are greeted with Santa in rosy red holding a decorated Christmas tree and a sack full of toys. Keep opening and the story unfolds, meet Mrs. Claus or possibly the Snow Maiden decked out and ready to help. Four more dolls reveal Santa landing on your hearth after coming down the chimney, oh look, now he is placing the gifts under your tree. Big fun to the end of this matryoshka story.
This is not a new item. Condition of these vintage nesting dolls are considered good based on age. These dolls were made in the early 1990's.
