The Blue Baltic teapot is aptly named--it almost has the appearance of a ship. A handpainted blue triangle pattern reminds one of the sea's waves. 22 karat gold embellishments add some shimmer. Teapot holds 3 cups.
This teapot was produced at the Imperial Porcelain Factory in St. Petersburg, Russia. Until recently, the workshop was known by its Soviet name, the “Lomonosov Porcelain Factory.” Since 1744, its artists have been creating fine china and figurines that truly are imperial. Clay is molded and fired at high temperatures, then handpainted to produce long-lasting quality dishware and figurines. Imperial Porcelain Factory Manufactory is the most recognized and renowned name in Russian porcelain production. Their work is highly sought after!
Gold embellishments make this item unsuitable for dishwasher or microwave use.
