Swan Princess Thimble

Here's a fanciful thimble inspired by the Swan Lake ballet story.  Princess Odette is charmed into a swan, thereby losing her beloved.  Artist Irina Kummer delightfully hand paints the swan princess on the lake; the swirling waters convey the dramatic story and bring to mind Tchaikovsky's inspiring score.  The gold cupolas of the royal palace are seen in the background, and gold foil trims the base.  This wooden thimble, painted in St. Petersburg, Russia, stands 1" tall.  Add it to your collection of brilliant thimbles by Irina Kummer!
