Our gallery is in Boone, NC, at 1651 NC Hwy. 194 N, about 1.3 miles from New Market Center (Lowes Grocery), on the left as you drive out from town. If you make it to Goober Peas at Howard's Creek Rd., you've just driven past us; please back up a stone's throw. See a map below.

Gallery Hours:

- Monday-Saturday: 9am to 5pm. Many days we remain open to 6pm, but good to call to confirm a late arrival.

- Sunday: by appointment only.

- Holiday Hours: The Gallery will be CLOSED any day UPS is on holiday: for example, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day - December 25, and New Year's Day - January 1 and possibly a few other days during the holiday season. Call ahead to verify our schedule or make an appointment.

What you will find in the gallery:

In addition to the South's largest selection of Russian nesting dolls, you'll find a great assortment of Russian folk crafts--many more items than you see on our web site.

Furthermore, you'll find a number of special sale items not found on the web, plus you'll have fun rummaging through our bargain box--slightly blemished items at 50% off regular price.

View our MUSEUM EXHIBIT to learn how nesting dolls are made. The exhibit features a model turnery with moving parts, the actual hand-forged tools used in doll carving, and a number of dolls at various stages of production. Interpretive images take you to the village where the dolls are made.
