Vintage "Galina" Mother-of-Pearl Portrait Brooch

These exquisite brooches depict a regal looking Russian woman, dressed in her traditional folk costume.

Each pin is made from solid mother-of-pearl, with the detailed portrait painted on a paper-thin veil that is placed over the iridescent shell and set in German silver.

Every pin is a unique, hand-painted work of art. As such, variations from one to the next are to be expected (see photos for examples).
