Done in the style of traditional Russian "Gzhel" ceramics, this large blue and white nesting doll is undeniably a feat of artistry. The hand-painted details and gold leaf embellishments make each doll a unique work of art. Every doll is signed by the artist. The matte finish shows age, however the colors remain bright. As these are hand-painted items, each doll is unique and variations from one to the next in shape, style, and condition are to be expected (see photos for examples).
