Santa w/ Tree Mounted on Front 9.5"

This tall blue-eyed Father Frost is a handsome fellow, and handsomely carved and painted indeed! His cherry red coat has a high gold collar that makes him look quite regal, and gives the artist plenty of canvas to work with on back, where she's added fanciful gold foil work across the cape, high and low. To give more perspective on the carving, a 3-D tree has been mounted to the Father Frost. Observe closely and you'll see a pocket watch hanging on his belt showing that it's 5 minutes to mid-night, when the Russian New Year will begin and Father Frost will arrive to deliver presents. My favorite detail is the sprig of mountain ash berries that has gotten tangled in his snowy beard as he's made his way through the forest. No doubt he has the energy left to make it to you before the clock strikes twelve! Signed by the artist.
