Kolobok Carved Nesting Doll 5pc./6"

Artist Sergei Koblov hand carves nesting dolls that tell the stories of old Russian folk and fairy tales. The "Kolobok, " or roll, tells the story of a little dinner roll who gets away only to be tricked by a fox, very similar in content to the Little Gingerbread Man. The carved figures provide a unique texture and the natural vegetable based dyes are soft in color. The doll also comes with the original Russian fairy tale sheet.
