If asked to name 3 things that come to mind when you think of Russia, the balalaika and St. Basil's Cathedral would probably be two of them. (Perhaps the third would be Ivan the Terrible, the Czar who commissioned St. Basil's Cathedral?) Anyway, this music box, shaped like the balalaika folk instrument, and depicting the colorful St. Basil’s Cathedral, sings of the Russian soul. Add to this the fact that it is RED, Russia's favorite color, plus the fact that it plays "Moscow Nights", Russia's favorite tune, and voila, you have the quintessential Russian-themed gift for that ex-patriot you so admire.
