This matryoshka celebrates the famous architecture of St. Petersburg, Russia, called Leningrad throughout the Soveit era.  The watercolor painting offer nuanced tones that soften the urban cityscapes and endear the doll to the collector.  We have a few in stock, and the scenes depicted vary from doll to doll, so the one you receive may not be exactly as pictured, but will be nearly the same.  This doll is painted and signed by artist Zavarina.
