This dashing 4" handpainted wooden egg comes with its own 3.5" stand and features a troika – a three-horse sleigh commonly associated with Old Russia – jingling along the walls of the kremlin, where pretty ladies are passing by. Wrapped around the egg is a lively panorama of Old Russian city life. You will be thrilled with this rare find, just as we were when we happened upon this close-out special we discovered in the basement of an out-of-business Russian jeweler. Egg and stand together measure about 7.5" tall for quite an impressive display. These vintage Moscow troika eggs are signed on the bottom by aritst N. Izotova.
