Crocodile Porcelain Figurine

Hand painted at the Astrakhan porcelain factory in Russia, this clever crocodile figurine measures nearly 4" from nose to tail.  What you can't see from the picture is that he's resting his head in his right hand, and winking with his right eye, as if he indeed is a cool cat.  He reminds me of the crocodile in Peter Pan, and is surely a story book character at heart.
