Carved Noahs Ark Doll 5pc./6"

This Carved Noah’s Ark Nesting Doll is by one of our favorite artists, Sergei Koblov. He carves the scenes directly into the wood and uses his own vegetable based dyes to stain the figures.  Each nesting doll has an intricately carved animal found on Noah’s ark:  giraffes, elephants, flamingos, and a dove.  A truly beautiful and unique Old Testament themed nesting doll, this matryoshka would provide an excellent focal point in a nursery or museum gallery alike.  If you are lucky enough to afford Koblov’s fine work, make a collection of all of his nesting dolls and you’ll have an heirloom collection!  Look for others by him in our Designs by Koblov collection.
