Golden Cockerel Lacquer Box by Malysheva

S. Malysheva filled every little bit of space on this relatively small Russian lacquered box from Kholui.  She painted an amazingly detailed mural depicting Pushkin's story poem The Golden Cockerel.  This lacquer Box is dated 2005, and measures 4" x 2.5" x 1".  It's a flawless beauty and a delight to hold in the hand.
