This small Russian Lacquer Box measures only 2.25"x1.5"x1.25", but depicts a full scene from Snow White (or what the Russian call "Tale of the Dead Princess." The old lady hands the beautiful princess the poisoned apple. Excellent shape. Painted in Palekh, signed by E. Serov.
