Evening Lacquer Box by N. Molodkin (Mstyora) 4 x 5 1/2"

Artist N. Molodkin gives us a masterpiece in this lively village scene. Six villagers socialize among the beautiful birch trees at river's edge as the smiling sun is going down. Above them, another couple trots along with a herd of horses crossing the bridge. The delicate mauves and light greens win you eye, while the romance of the village scene wins your heart. Incredible detail by a master!!!! .
This box measures almost 4" wide and 5.5" tall. The top is not hinged. It is signed by the artist, titled, and noted as coming from Mstera (or Mstyora, if you prefer). The condition of the box is great, with only a bit of scuffing on the bottom.
