Note: This vintage doll is in excellent shape save 3 small cracks in the upper half of the largest doll, 2 on the doll's right side and one on the left, where they do not interfere with the artwork and are hardly noticed. Due to this imperfection the doll is discounted from its every day low price.
The classic Russia folk tale "Kolobok" (translates as "The Little Bun" but is widely known in American culture as "Little Gingerbread Man") is depicted in detail on this one-of-a-kind vintage nesting doll, which was hand painted back in the early 1990's and only recently made its way to our gallery. The bright cheerful colors of this doll stand out as unusual in the matryoshka world. The detail of the artistry is delightful. Let it find a new resting spot in your collection!
